05. Updating your version of Direct X
Vista Users: Despite having Direct X10, you must also have Direct X 9 installed for many games to run.
If your DirectX is not up-to-date, please click on the following link to get an updated version from Microsoft:

If the version detected appears to be older than the one on Microsoft's site, please download it and install it after that.
When the download window appears, please accept the download.
Once the download is finished, the installation starts. You will be asked to read the license agreement, and accept it. Please click on I accept the terms and then on Next to continue.
