Document 10. Putting the desktop into 32bit color
Some games require that the Windows desktop be set in 32bit color (optimal color setting) to start. This is easy to set up:

 1 - Go to the Start menu go to Run and type DESK.CPL then click OK:



2 - In the Display Properties Window go to the Settings Section:



3 - In the Color quality section in the bottom right of the window and select Highest (32 bit) from the drop-down menu. Click on Apply and OK to confirm the change.

Note: Some older games require that the desktop be set to 16bit color. If you play older games and the display does not work correctly please refer to this section of the guide.
